La Liga Watch: Yellow Card Confetti in Valencia's Win Over Sevilla, 3-1.

Valencia overtook Atletico Madrid to take the fourth place on the La Liga table after outpointing Sevilla, 3-1.

Julien Escude delivered great header into the top corner to give Sevilla the lead. David Villa was poorly tackled in the 44th minute causing Adriano Correia to be sent off, and he promptly followed that up with a goal that leveled things up right before halftime.

In the 82nd minute, Andres Palop was booked and a penalty was awarded to Valencia, which resulted in a goal by Juan Manuel Mata Garcia. Not long after, Sevilla coach Manuel Jimenez was sent off himself.

For good measure, Pablo Hernandez scores one in extra time, but he gets a booking for taking his shirt off in celebration.

I don't know what to say about the match; it looked as if the referee was enjoying giving out yellow cards to everyone playing.

With the win, Valencia now only trails Sevilla in the table by five points, 57-52.
