Real Madrid's Marcelo kept his team in the running for the league title as he scored the lone goal in their match-up with lowly Recreativo Huelva.
Having won earlier, Barca had their lead against their archrivals extended to nine points, but Real Madrid was able to reply with their own win.
I think this league race isn't that much different from the race between the top two teams in the Premier League: both league leaders (Barca and United) still have to split their attentions between league matches and the Champions League, while the teams trailing them (Real Madrid and Liverpool) have already been eliminated and are now only focusing on keeping the pressure on.
